



STEP Associates will provide an approximate staff to client ratio of 1 to 5. These ratios may vary depending on the level of need of the participant.
Any and all pertinent information regarding group participants must be disclosed. STEP Associates is not responsible for any situation that may occur due to inadequate disclosure of such information.
Participants requiring complete and/or total care or use of a wheelchair/walker must provide their own personal care assistant at a predetermined cost. At this time we do not have wheelchair accessible vehicles, however, we are willing to discuss alternative suggestions.
STEP Associates reserves the right to expel any participant from the program for any lawful reason, including, but not limited to, violation of STEP Associates rules and regulations and detrimental conduct to him/herself or others. Any expenses incurred by STEP Associates due to improper conduct or behavior by participants must be reimbursed by the participant to STEP Associates. STEP Associates will not be held responsible for any luggage not properly labeled. In addition, STEP Associates is not responsible for individuals missing a trip date due to being late, no show, or not having proper identification or documentation and will not be offered a refund.
All activities are of health insurance I.D. card.first come, first serve and are limited depending on the event and a valid picture identification is required by all participants. Step Associates reserves the right to cancel an activity due to lack of participants and individuals previously signed up will be issued a full refund. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation must be received in writing within 14 days of trip to receive full refund minus a $50.00 processing fee.
No refunds will be giving for no shows, or late to a meeting spot.
Cancellations will not be honored if it is not in writing or received less than 14 days.
(Weekend Get-a-way's or vacations)
Any participant needing to cancel a trip must do so in writing and will be issued a refund based on the following:
90 days and over prior to trip- Full refund minus any pre-purchased, non-refundable items plus a $25.00 processing fee.
60-89 days prior to trip- 75% refund minus any pre-purchased, non-refundable items plus a $50.00 processing fee.
30-59 days and over prior to trip- 50% refund minus any pre-purchased, non-refundable items plus a $75.00 processing fee.
29 days prior to trip and under- No refund unless spot is filled with another participant (where as the 30-59 day prior to trip rule will apply). No shows-NO REFUND
All refunds will be processed within thirty days of cancellation notice.
Participant, on his/her own behalf and on behalf of his/her heirs, in consideration of his/her participation in STEP Associates programs and activities, hereby agrees to release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless STEP Associates LLC, its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, and agents from and against any and all damages, claims, demands, suits, judgments, and costs, including reasonable attorney’s fees, costs and expenses, for or on account of any bodily or personal injury, damage to property of which he/she now has or shall ever have as a result of his/her participation in said STEP Associates LLC programs and activities. In the event my emergency contacts are unable to be reached, I hereby consent and authorize STEP Associates LLC, its employees and/or agents to authorize medical treatment on my behalf, including the release of any and all my personal and medical information necessary for any such treatment intending to grant the authority to act for me in all matters as fully and effectually as I might do if able to do so.
